Default Java with MySQL in OSX ?

Does anyone know where I can get documentation for using Java with MySQL in OSX?

There's no difference in using the technology in OS X or Windows or Linux or anything. Java is platform independent that's the beauty.

The most strike feature of Java is that it is platform independent that is
why it is not mind that what OS are used .
